A brie history: Sataranci is a thick cotton carpet. Once upon a time Rangpur was famous for Sataranci. That Sataranci was so famous that it is emperor such as Akbar also used it. This Sataranci was devoid from mechanical use.it is made only with bamboo and its shape is geomitrical. Village people made this by their own design.once upon a time the Sataranci of this area was sold in India,Pakistan, Indonesia,Sri lanka,thailand,and malayeshiya and many others countries of the world. by being inspired of this many people of INDIA and Pakistan made Sataranci and export it to other countries and earned many foreign money.in 1830 British collector Mr. Nishbet working in rangpur invest for doing well for this culture. That's why a villageo of rangpur filled with this culture was named nishbet polli.

The lanlord of pirgacha sub district norendro narayan son of raghabendra narayan died in 1765 without any legacy. Then the wife of the died landowner Joydurga manage the landlord for three decades. This Joydurga is popularly known as Devi Chowdhurani in history.in the time of Sonnasi Bidroho (Sannasi revolution) she keep peace with Vobani Pathok and war against English. In this insurgency collector Richard Gudland and army commander lieutenantbrenan got feared and forfeit the landlord of Devi Chowdhurani. This time Devi Chowdhurany Levant her self for some days. After that time she again came to manage the landlord and she manage it for 1791. Now all of the building of it damaged . Only the pond is also now there.

Brief history of Mathapukura Mosque : The mosque is oblong size and it has three domes.its volume is about 10.66m*4.11m. in-front of this masjid beside the surrounded yard there is a entrance door which is made by Bangladeshi local culture. There are also 4 corner tower which is higher than the corner of the roof and finished as a size of kiupola. by dividing the oblongate mosque in three parts with  2 literal vault here it is 3 made semi round domes. 3 mirhab,the in-front wall, para-pate wall,and the drums of the domes all r designed with beautiful panel,spinach,flower, geometrical sizes and as hoods of snake.from the inscription of the wall it is known that the masjid was made by sheikh mohammad asher son of Sheikh Mohammad saber in 1226 hijri (1801).

Itakumari Landlord house was established in 19th century. Shibchondro elder son of landlord Rajarai was the founder of Itakhula Landlord house. Now most of the building are ruined . Now a well two large pond and elderly building witness of time. point to be noted that leaders of the public rebellion Devi singha and his assistant Harram sen one time on a time get the owner by forcing. Again Shibchanda and Devi Chowdhurani lead the public rebellion and free the people of Rangpur from Devi singha's torture.

After the death of landlord Rajendro naraon the "Monthona" Estate divided into two part among his two son's Harendra narayan and  Bhyrab Narayan. As a result the landlord house also divided into two part. After the death of Harendra Narayan when his son Mohendra narayan died as Childless then his adopted son Mohendra Narayan was landlord of  the state. After his death Bhupendra Narayan was the last landlord of this estate. kachari house of ruined Landlord house is now used as Pirgasha registrar office.

Founder of Rangpur zoo President Ershad, was responsible for lots of additions to Rangpur. They donated land for a zoo with a massive park in the midst of town.The Rangpur zoo was built in 80th Decade in 19th century.

Muslim saint Hajrot Maulana Keramot Ali Jaunapuri (Rh) was the 35 generation of Hajrot Abu Bakkar (Ra) 1st Khalifah (ruler) of Islam. Maulana Jaunapuri (Rh) born in 1225 Hijri at Mulatol colony in Jaunapuri of MadhoProdesh, India. At his Mature age they came to Rangpur for spread Islam. For his wisdom, persona and simple life planning lots of people took Islam as their religion. After his death in 30 may in 1873 beside his tomb the karamotia Mosque was built. rectangular sized this domes mosque Constructed according to the Mughal architecture and local beautiful craft. Its internal size is 42'-0"*13'-0". the Width of the east-west wall of the Mosque is 3'-3" north-south wall is 2'-10". the high of the masjid is 18'-0" from the ground. The domes was built over octogonal drum size platform. in the lower part of the domes there is Marlon designs.

The founder of Deowan Bari Jamindaar Bari was Fonivuson Mojumdar. Fonivuson Mijumdar Father name was Landlord Radharomon and mother's name as Kusum Kumari Devi who was the second wife of Radharomon. He as born in 1892. This landlord house is a small 2 stores Building. but The main gate of the house is look like as a Mughal Castle - gate. After banned the Real estate practices in 1952 The house was auctioned. Now there have a school and some business center.

History of Tajhat palace
Tajhat Jamidar Bari in rangpur district on of the importent attractive Archaeological patterns of the country. The founder of Tajhat Actual estate Mannalal was professional jeweler. they came mahiganje & sate-led here. that time mahigang was a famous business city & headquarter of Rangpur. Mahilal established a bulding at tajhat for business per-pus. The long line of Mannalal Roy's relatives succession ends with a grand-grand-son, Giridharilal Roy. Since Giridhari adopted Gobindalal because they had no children who succeeded to the estate in 1879. After they came to live in Tajhat, because of his mass popularity they was Awarded the title of 'Raja' in 1885, 'Raja bahadur' in 1892 & 'Maharaja; in 1896. Raja Gobindolal met a tragic death his own house in the work of a earthquake in 1897. After his died his son gopal lal ray bahadur (1887-1955) got the actual state & start building the Tajhat jamindar bari. in 1917 construction of the palace was completed. After the finish of the British rule when banned the Actual estate practices in 1952 the building was gone under the department of agriculture, although it was used for courthouse in the work of the 1980s. In the year 1987 it was turned in to a museum with ancient inscriptions, art & coins from the area on display.

This tow Stores and east faces building 76.20 m long in the front side . A 15.24m. wide staircase in the middle Leads directly above the portico to the 1st Flor made with white marble which imported from Spain . The Tajhat Jamidar palace is crowned by a ribbed conical dome with a tall octagonal neck in the midst of the roof supported by a series of slender semi-Corinthian columns.. This palace has 28 number of rooms. In the ground Flor there has four large room and 11 pair windows. and the main Room size is (145*123). On the south and north side there's rounded pillar. In the front of the palace there is a fountain made by marble stone. from 1st Floor Going directly to the second floor has a expanded staircase. the staircase decorated with designed lamp-stand.

There have a Madrasah and a orphan house. It is known that 12 Muslim saint came from Middle east and start Live in for Spread Islam around this area. And it is the place to bury them, when they died. For this it was named as tomb of Baro Auliya majar (12 saint tomb).

The Hindu temple Badeshari situated in Boda subdistrict at borososhi council at devi boddeshari mouja at the area of 2.78acre. In 18 puran of hindu's skandha is one.in that skahdha puran in 88 kashi it is said that the king made a worship. the king volanath was the son in law of Shib kind Dakkha.The king Dakkha never accepted shib as his son in law. Because Shib always was careless about life.In the worship all were invited but his son in law husband of his daughter dei urga (parvati/mahamaya) hib was not invited. Hearing this news devi durga died.He was unable to bear the die of his wife and behaved as a mad.then the king of heaven king bishnudev did not tolerate that and send a dudorshon chokro.by the touch of the chakra the body of shib divided in 52 parts. mong the 52 parts of the body 2 fall in Bangladesh. One in chittagong;s sitakundu and another in panchagar;s Boddeshori. where the part of shiv fall the place is called pith.Baddeshori mahaoith is one of them.By the name of the temple boda area is named.by the side of river korotoa the temple is a historical place.

Local people says that its depth is 40 feet. its water is clear.it has 10 saghata.it is imagined that Pitthu king dag this lake. It is said that the king attacked by a lower class and suicided with family and wealth by jumping in this lake.every year Boishakhi fair held at the bank of the river. Many time the presence of the Indian people also seen. Beside the lake there are many green designs of trees which is very dear to all till now.

Bhitargarh is situated at Omorkhana union in Panchagarh sub district 10 km north from Panchagarh district town of Bangladesh-Varot border line.Panchagarh's Bhitorgorh is one of the most impotent reign in those reigns which are countable of north Bangal. It is the largest castle-town by volume in Bangladesh. The total area of Bhitorgarh is 12 km. It Has not been possible to calculate the correct time to create Bhitaragara stronghold. However, this stronghold was not built at the same time.initial framework of Bhitargarh is created by the king prthu, that was estimated time is 6th century. Consequently, the area occupied and ruled by the kings of the Pal dynasty and that time it was Extended.

The Panchagarh Rocks Museum is the frist rocks mesume of bangladesh. It is located in Panchagarh Govt. Prof. Nazmul Haque, principal of Panchagarh Govt. Mohila College, established the rocks mesume on March 1, 1997. The Rocks museum is seperat into two gallerys, external and internal. In the external gallery there has a vast
number of rocks; and in the internal gallery, there are small stones of different ages.

Collection of the Rocks Museum:
Collection of Rocks: Petrified Wood and Fossilized Rocks, Granite, Quartzite Shell, Lime Stone, Sist, Hard Rock, Basalt, Silica, Nice, Clay-Rock etc. have been keep in the Rocks museum for display. These are almost 60 pieces of rocks from different age sized by 3-4 inches to 10 feet.

Other Collection of the Rocks Museum:
In the museum there are some other importent collections. Two antiquarian boats which built with only one truck of tree and about 500 to 1000 years ago and Multicolored sand and earth, petrified 'shall wood' and net, very old pictured bamboo fearing, different type antics, very old writings.

Director of National mesume Shamsuzzaman Khan and Hanti Glasi, Professor of Indiana University of USA visited the Museum on May 14, 2000.

The distance of the Golokdham Mandir is 12 km north From Debiganj subdistrict. An  example of eighteenth century Excellent temple architecture. The design is similar to the Greek architecture strategy.

Softhori Mosque is located at center of Atwari-Boda road and the bounding line of  Atwari and Thakurgaon subdistrict of Panchagarh. It is the oldest mosque of the district. A person name Sudharu Saha was established Softhori Mosque. No actual information about its formation date. But there is similarity between Softhori Mosque and dome mosque at Mugrapara in Sonargaon in Narayanganj district. Which was build during the Sultani time, in 1478. For the similarity between two mosque it is assumed that Solthori Mosque was established during the Sultani time. Squire Shape  Solthori Mosque has only twelve ft. width walls, with no specific place for the Imam. Hence the entry door is very low and only 5 people can pray together once. In the north and south side there are two small door. The wide compound of the front has an arch. Now The arch has changed its real look. The walls is designed with flower and leafs. The Softhori Mosque was affected by earthquake,  but was reconstructed in 2007

Chaprajhat Masjid is located at Paharvanga village in Atwari sub district of Panchagarh district. It is a mughal architecture sign. This mosque was build during the Mughal period.  This masjid was established by a person named Shahad Mondol, in 1300 hijri. There are three Domes and 4 small towers on the mosque . Some part of the Mosque wall has terracotta arts. The Masjid has a wide brick made compound, with an arch at the gate. This arch has the similarity with Mirzapure Jamei Masjid. The Masjid length is 25 ft and width is 15 ft. Chaprajhat Mosque is not far away from Mirzapur Jamei Masjid. Both Masjid was affected by earthquakes.  It is assumed that the worker of Mirzapure Jamei Mosque, was involved during the established of Chaprajhar Mosque.
