Char Kukri Mukri is the natural beauty that rises on the chest of Bhola. It is well-known as Dwip kanya too.
Nature lover traveler loves its natural beauty of  mangrove Forestry, Wildlife and sea. A lots of deer, cows, buffalo, monkeys and various species of wild animal and birds are live in the islan.

There are also two more island near Char Kukri Mukri named Chor Patila and Dhalchor. Chor Kokri Mukri is identified as the world's biodiversity area by the IUCN.

How to reach:

If you want  go there you need to goat frist Barisal by road or riverinetransport and Then Bhola by road way.  From Bhola 2.5 hours road journey and then 1/2 hour boat journey need to reach Char Kukri Mukri.

Accommodation:

Circuit/guest houses are available in Bhola but More comfortable  accommodations
are available at Barisal.

A Museum:

Mostofa Kamal better known as Shaheed Sepoy Mostafa Kamal was a sepoy in the Bangladesh Army during the Liberation War. Mostafa Kamal was a well known boxer. A Memorial Museum of Bir Shrestho Mostofa kamal is situated at his home district Bhola name Bir Shrestho Mostofa kamal Memorial Museum.

Biography:

Mostofa Kamal's father was a Habildar in the Pakistan army.  On sixteenth Dec. 1967, Kamal escaped from his home and joined the EBR. Bangladesh Liberation War started in 1971, EBR had taken the control of Brahmanbaria with three Defense bases at Aashuganj, Ujanishwar and Anderson lake.For Pakistani army's continued attacking with EBR retreated back to Aakhaura, Shangi Nagar and Daruin. Second Platoon was sent to Daruin to reinforce the troops. Mostafa Kamal was a soldier of this platoon. Mostofa Kamal sacrifice his life for his country at Daruin on 18 April 1971 during a battle against the Pakistan. Army.

2. His birth place is the village           : Poshchim Hajipur; upazilla: Daulatkhana;  district: Bhola.
3. Mostofa Kamal had his education : only up to second grade.
4. He was posthumously rewarded the highest gallantry award in Bangladesh                                   : “Bir Shrestho”
5. A postage stamp was also published to pay respect to him.

Charfasson College is situated at district Bhola, Bangladesh. Islander are established this college In 1967. Late Nazrul Islam local parliament member, was the founding principal. Local notable person such as Dr. Matin, Mannan Hauladar and others were in the founding governing board of Charfasson College. A notable person of the college is Mr. Abdullah Al Islam Jakob. He is the 1st graduate student of the college to become the parliament member of Charfasson and Manpura area. This college is waiting to be a government institution.

Monpura Island:

Monpura is one of the famous nice island at Bhola in Bangladesh. Small Monpura island under charfashion subdistrict full of forest under forestry. The main attractions of monpura are Spotted deer, Monkey, python and lots of different kinds of Birds. The greens formed  by the Forest Department  about a decade ago and the natural beauty has turned coastal Monpura island  into an attractive tourist places. Animals were also released at same time. During winter season, lots of foreign birds come to the islands. The main attractive feature of this Island is one can see both sunrise and sunset from here.

History:

This Island has different historical importance from colonial times. About 600 years ago, Portuguese pirates used to take shelter in the Monpura  island. When the Portugueses were left the island, people from Bhola, Laxmipur and Noakhali started living there. This island is also play role in British India. In 1800, the rebellious salt-producers attacked the head office of the Greek businessman Demotirus in South Shahbajpur and killed his employee Paliolgas. three hundred fourteen salt-producers were carrested at the order of District Magistrate Middleton. For that three hundred fifty salt-producers of this Island went elsewhere in 1818.

The natural beauty of Monpura can not be utilised due to lack of any Gov. decisions and help. There are many possiblity to build tourists spots in this island. It’s 70,000 people are poor. A tourist spot can change their life. A person name Baschu Chowdhry has built a tourist resort on 161 acres of land. Mainly it is a farmhouse. Deer, several hundred cows in a farm, fishes in few ponds, gardens, orchards and lots of coconut trees there. It will attract anybody's. There has all facilities.
