Sriramkathi Pronob Moth Sheba-ashram is situated in Veemkathi village. Near Kali-ganga river of Najirpur subdistrict. It was the native area of Sharat Chandra Mitra, who lived in Dhalhara village of Barisal. He established a dispensary in Sriramkathi and settled their as a doctor. In Hindus, he was prominent by the name Srim Swami Pronban-nandaji. The Sriramkathi Pronob moth is established on 1 acre of land.

Almost 200 years ago when English Edward Mr. Pery Caspar came to Mothbaria subdistrict of Pirojpur, the Rich Forazullah donate him fourteen bighas of land where Kuthibari was established. They used to arrange Punnah at the end of poush (Bengali month) every year. At the time of India deviation in 1947, the British ruler left Kuthirbari. Before leaving Mr. Casper named a village of Shap-Leja according the name of his father Mr. Shilar.

In Pirojpur district 100 years old famous Momin Mosque is located in front of the prominent Akon house which is 200 years old, Momin Mosque located at the Northern end of Mothbaria subdistrict.  It is designed with specialized wooden art work which was a new trend of Endo-Paris and Europeon. For this Cultural Ministry has declared and listed it as a “Preserved Ancient Property” in 17 April, 2003.

About 350 years ago there established a Landlord family. The landlord house known as Rayerkati Zamindarbari is situated in three km. north from the Pirojpur main town. Perliaement, ball-room, guest house and many hindu temples were built there. There were almost 200 palaces. From which about 40-50 were the largest. At 1658 Kaali (Hindu God) mandir or temples were established here. The biggest Shiva Linga is also located here. Which weight is almost about thousend kilogram.s.
