People says that A Hindu landowner Narayan Chakrawarti dag this pond cause of draught.But cause of having no water in the pond he got a dream to worship by leaving two daughter of him in the middle of the pond named Sindur and Mati.But he failed to bring all the elements for the worship.when he went to take all the elements the pond fulfilled with water.the two daughter of the lanowner failed to reach in the bank and died.aftert that he saw a dream that his two daughter got immortality.

Munsi Bari is situated at dhoroni union from 7 km north-east of ulipur sub district in Kurigram district. Brajen Munsi Agent of landlord Sbarnamayi established this house for his one use. A inscription of a building beide the house  established by Brajen munsi indicate the established date 1880 A.D . From here it is  hypothesis that house of Brajen Munsi was built from few days before of that building. Now this building use for union Tahasil office.

Candi Mandir is located at the place name Dhamsreni about 3 km east from ulipur sub district of Kurigram district. Several of from it known that the mandir was established (1658-1707) at the time of Mughal emperor Aorangajeba. The mandir look like a kali Mandir. A earthquake was occurred in 1897. That time the earth quake causes serious damage of the Mandir. Now here establish a new mandir beside the old Mandie. It was the headquarter of Baharabanda Raganara and Rani Satyabrati was the Landlord.

Baparipara shahi Masjid Is located 1 km distance from rajarhata sub district of Kurigram district. The masjid length is 32 feet and width is 10 feet. Masjid surrounded by 3 ft high wall. The mosque has three door .  a decorated gate, 2 tower and 4 high towers situated on the four corner of the masjid. More 8 tower situated beside the 4 tower.  On the center of the roof there have three big domes. There has no inscription about the masjid. From its architecture design guess that its age is about 200 years old. In the front of the Masjid  there is a big tank.
