Bangladesh has two cemetery for the world war II. One is at Chittagong, and another is at Comilla. Both of these are monitored and governed by the Commonwealth Grave Commission. If you are planning to visit the cemetery at Comilla

Second World War warrior’s graveyards are in this Cemetery. There are 755 graves in this graveyard of the great warriors who died d in world war from1939 to 1945 in Chittagong and Comilla areas. In this well-preserved cemetery at a quiet and picturesque place within the city lie buried in eternal peace over 700 soldiers from British, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, Myanmar, East and West Africa, The Netherlands and Japan who laid down their lives on the Myanmar front during the World War II. Every year a number of tourists come here to visit this Cemetery.

The Cemetery is open from morning 7 to 12 noon, and afternoon 2 to 5. Without this timing.

You can reach at Comilla by bus or train. Its around 2 hours bus or train journey.The final destination of the bus is Comilla town, but it will be better for you to get down at Comilla Cantonment. Cause its just beside the Comilla cantonment.From cantonment, you can take a CNG Auto for your own. Or you can
share with other people. That case it will cost you only 5 taka. If you take it your own, that case it will cost you 30 taka. The Cemetery is just beside the Military Hospital(CMH).
